Course Fee Payment Policy
All courses require payment to confirm your spot. Only pre-arranged private classes offer other invoicing and payment options.
Students or employers must pay the invoice on or before the due date to secure the spot. If you book through the Heart and Stroke portal but have not registered on the BE-Alive CPR website, we will manually add you to the class and send an invoice. If payment is not received within 24 hours, your spot will not be guaranteed and your booking may be cancelled on our website and the Heart and Stroke portal.
We prefer interac e-transfer for all invoices. Please send payments to BE-Alive CPR at info@bealivecpr.com (auto deposit).

Booking, Cancellation, and Rescheduling Policy
Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a course, please review our cancellation process and policy.
All courses require a minimum number of participants as set by certifying organizations. Once we meet the minimum number, we send out a confirmation email and an invoice, if payment wasn’t collected at registration. BE-Alive CPR reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses if the minimum participant requirement is not met or due to unforeseen circumstances.
Minimum Participant Requirements
The BLS, HeartSaver CPR/AED C and First Aid courses require ideally at least 3 students, as per Heart and Stroke guidelines. If the minimum is not met, the course will be rescheduled to the next available date, and the registration fee is eligible for a refund. The online access key attached to your Heart and Stroke portal can be reused if the course is cancelled.
Blended Course Online Access Key (Non-Refundable)
Blended courses require an online access key. The $35+GST fee for the online access key is non-refundable but can be used until the student completes the in-class session or 90 days from the BLS online exam completion. In case of a course cancellation, the online key remains valid for rescheduling.
General Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refund Policy
BE-Alive CPR is not responsible for any financial, personal, or travel-related interruptions or expenses due to course cancellations. We will do our best to inform students of any schedule updates, changes, or cancellations as soon as possible.
- If a course is cancelled by us: Students are eligible for a full refund of the course fee paid to BE-Alive CPR, excluding any non-refundable online access key fee.
- If a student wishes to cancel: For BLS, First Aid (all levels), and HeartSaver courses, cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@bealivecpr.com no later than 14 days before the scheduled date. Cancellations within 14 days are not eligible for a refund.
Additional Policies:
- Blended Course Materials: All online blended access keys and course materials are non-refundable for all courses.
- Rescheduling: You may request one reschedule free of charge at least 10 days in advance. No further refunds are available.
- No-Shows: “No shows” are not eligible for a refund or reschedule.
